The smart StyleMe gently freshens up, smooths or shapes once-worn garments. “The device, with the outline of a narrow cabinet, breaks with conventional household appliance design. The door is equipped with a holographic intelligent touchscreen for controlling the functions. The smart home appliance can be used to care for eight garments at once. A water tank with a special ion-softening filter feeds the innovative spray hangers. In conjunction with 3D rotation, wrinkles are removed using 4D micro-steam technology or textiles can be imbued with a favourite scent,” said the jury, explaining its decision.

Coucoq rethinks garment care for pieces that resist the washing machine—cashmere sweaters, silk dresses, tailored wool. Conceived as a slender wardrobe column, the unit accepts clothes on hangers; close the glass door and an integrated steam circuit releases micro-vapour to relax fibres, neutralise odours, and lift surface grime. A rapid low-heat airflow then dries the items in minutes, returning them ready to wear with no laundering or ironing cycle. The cabinet’s quiet presence lets it live in bedroom or entry hall, turning occasional maintenance into an everyday ritual of effortless refresh.

Our internal survey reveals the opportunity: 66 % of adults avoid favourite garments for fear the washing machine will shrink or distort them, while 32 % struggle outright with washing delicates. Crucially, 57 % say they would invest in a dedicated appliance for caring for soft, delicate items—coats, jackets, blankets, and more.

Coucoq’s patented DryClean™ system replaces detergent and drum with a closed-loop “inhale–exhale” circuit. On start-up, the cabinet draws air through a micro-boiler, producing a fine 4-D steam that is pulsed through each garment via directional nozzles integrated in the hanger rail. Ultrasonic micro-vibrations loosen fibres, releasing wrinkles, odours, and particulate dust without mechanical abrasion. The spent air is immediately extracted, passed through a condensing filter, and recirculated—leaving fabrics lightly scented and touch-dry in under 15 minutes.

Coucoq’s companion app lets users schedule cycles, tweak steam levels, and track progress remotely. Garment presets send push alerts the moment items are ready. Smart-home links weave the unit into existing IoT scenes—voice-start a refresh, run a pollen-day delicate cycle.
